Prime Shave Protect
Like so much in life, good preparation is the key to a good finish and a great shave is no different. To keep your skin in optimum condition and to get the best results from your shave you need to prime (or prepare) your stubble before shaving.
Dry stubble has the same tensile strength as copper wire, whilst saturated bristles are three times easier to cut. So spend some 3 to 4 minutes thoroughly wetting your beard with plenty of warm water (ideally warmer than 48°C) as this is good for your skin, good for your shave and good for your razor too!
Then cleanse your face with good quality mild Face Wash (don’t use soap as this will dry out your skin). Warm running water and a face wash will help remove unwanted bacteria as well as dirt and oils from skin helping give you a cleaner and clearer complexion.
Once or twice a week alternate your face wash with a gentle Face Scrub to help clear dead skin and other debris. This will help prevent in-growing hairs whilst keeping your skin in great condition.
